New Owner of a 2018 SS 1LE

Hey Guys,

I'm excited to say I'm the new owner of a 2018 SS 1LE. Feels phenomenal compared to my 2018 Challenger Scat Pack w/ Dynamic package which was disappointing to say the least.

I have tons of questions but starting out the first thing is who do you all recommend for Cam/Head packages? I know Texas Speed is big. LG Motorsports is huge for Corvettes and the LT1 is in the base and grand sport. There's Vengeance Racing but i can't believe how expensive their packages are. Just want to get a feel for who is reputable and who isn't for this platform.

Also plan for headers. I know Kooks and ARH make full systems does anyone have real world experience? I had a Borla Atak catback for my Challenger w/valve delete and I loved it. When I saw you can get a full system from Kooks for 1800 versus my Borla Catback for the Challenger at 1450 I nearly shit myself.

Welcome!

Check the sponsor "for sale" section, and check other members in the tech section who had head/cam done. Your location might make a difference if you plan on having a shop tune your car when done.

Tons of people running headers and exhaust. Plenty of info just a click away.

Not wasting any time with the mods.

You'll love every minute of it! It's like trading in a Lazy Boy for a Recaro.

Congrats! Hope you enjoy it.

You must have either got a great deal, or truly hated the Dodge to get rid of it in the first year, given the depreciation hit and all... What was so bad about it?

There are quite a few locations but, many of them are named off in here. Vengeance, Lashway and Pray Performance are all solid choices.

I agree the difference was mind blowing. I had a standard 6 speed 17' scat then a 18' Scat 6 speed with Dynamic Package and it still was a boat. The 1LE is more me. In my opinion destroys the Challenger in every way performance and looks wise.
