Crappy First Cars

I was just listening to one of my favorite morning shows (www.Bobandbrian.com check out the podcast section) in milwaukee and they had a discussion about crappy first cars.... funny as hell... What was your first car?

My first car was a 1991 Chevrolet Lumina 4 door, Maroon, I used to think it was a crappy, but looking back i put 60,000 miles on it from 140,000 to 200,000 miles...And i never had any major issues with it... So i guess it wasn't that bad of a car. Then I got a Z28........now I'm here!!! Chevy all the way Baby!

1988 Cadillac Fleetwood Broughm.... 2 tone Cadillac yellow and rust with tan leather interior... blew the motor 2 months later. Apparently repeated neutral drops aren't good for a car.... who knew?

My first car was a 72 Mustang 302 v-8. The first time I changed the plugs in it, I found out it had one dead cylinder so it was basically a v-7, had to change the water pump, then the timing chain, then the transmission. And ofcourse all this happened after I lost my two jobs.

My first car was a 1962 Chevy II Nova two door hard top all original. It was a beater, but a fun car to drive. It looked like this one only blue.

1977 Chevy Caprice Classic

Blew the motor while mudding a couple years after I had it. That was a great car...miss it.

1988 Toyota 4runner (with removeable top)

Great memories of it. I like the joystick type gear selector. Probably the gamer in me.

That would be my current Saab 9-5 '99 then. Not really a crappy car, it's pretty good. Except the suspension and chassis' quite worn. And there is rust here and there. And the black pain has seen way better days. And the A/C is crappy. And the seats are worn. And the stereo will most likely just die one day, it has these odd popping noised at times. But it has decent mileage, is fun to drive and has okay speakers and decent seats. In truth I'll probably miss it once I get rid of it, despite all it's flaws.
