That combo of engines is interesting. The models you can get them in is very odd though. I understand the "base" engines only in the low trims, but why is the 6.2 only available in 2 trims? Pretty sure Ford you can get the 3.5 Ecoboost in all trims except maybe the work truck.

I don't understand why the 3.0L Duramax isn't available on either Trail Boss either.

You are modest in your dreams for a turbo V6; 330/375 out of a small (sub 3L?) engine is certainly doable. I'd put more money on a high performance 'big' turbo6, but I'm thinking that the house would be winning that bet with no T6 happening at all.

They really are trying hard to screw this thing up. Which is unfortunate, given how critical this is. Would anyone be surprised if they end up in 3rd place?

That doesn’t surprise me. In the General forum, one of the guys was telling how his friends brand new Charger or Challenger burned to the ground in his driveway.
