haha i dont know how i just saw this thread but i had a girl puke all over my door panel and seatbelt in my 94 cavalier and the car reaked like puke for a week or so...

i used lysol air freshner all kinds of things to try to get rid of the smell and nothing helped and i remember it just went away by itsself after a week or so goodluck!

My girlfriend's drunk friend yacked in the back of my '80 Z28. Down the side panel, on the seat and allll under the seat. That car stank until the day I dozed off and drove it head-on into a telephone pole at 40 mph. Then it still stank but ran a lot worse.

Remove seat.
Replace seat with clean, matching donor.
Send her an invoice for it, tell her she’s lucky you can do the work yourself.

This isn’t that hard.

As a father of 4 children and a previous dog owner, I would seriously try cleaning before you try more invasive measures. I can share so many barf, poop and pee stories it isn't even funny. I was able to clean the bolted down 3rd row seat and carpet in a new Expedition after my kid puked strawberry milkshake everywhere. It was so bad my wife, who was driving, rolled down the window and puked. She left the car in the sun with the windows rolled up for 2 hours before I got home. I used the Bissel cleaner, simple green and 8 rolls of paper towels to clean it up. It was perfectly fine afterwards.

A friend of mine puked in her car while my friend was driving her home. She had gotten drunk from the night out and I was following them back to her house to then take my buddy home after driving her car for her. It was pretty gross but at least she bent over into the footwell so mostly it was caught in her floor mat which is easy enough to pull out. The rest was in the carpet but the dad said he just used his handheld carpet cleaner.

It's a comprehensive claim on your insurance. If you have a low deductible I would call them.

I wouldn't. His rates will go up and for $500 more over his deductible if it's that low he can have a new seat

I get that we have all been hammered to the point that a "release" might occur, but how the hell do you get so wasted that you cannot even determine how close you are? Don't get me wrong.. I am not above telling my good friends on Camaro6 that I have unloaded an avalanche of a deuce in my pants before but I knew it was coming and was able to at least get out of the car and destroy only my clothes.
