Despite what certain political affiliates will tell you, the NFL is making money hand over fist. It is more profitable than ever.

If it ain't broke, give the commish a massive extension.

What's wrong with this picture?
Well, here's the problem.... Elliot doesn't have to be convicted of anything. The simple fact of the matter is that every major corporation/business/etc has a personal conduct policy.

https://nflpaweb.blob.core.windows.n...tPolicyLPP.pdf

Just the simple act of being involved in a dispute can result in a suspension or possible termination.

Additionally, let's not act like Elliot was a choir boy either. The guy was involved in a bar fight (regardless of whether he actually did anything, he was there), he has had this long ongoing case with his ex about abuse, and he was ON FILM assaulting a woman by pulling her shirt down.

Regardless of whether he was convicted or not, the kid has done enough to merit the suspension. Id say the same about ANY player, regardless of team or sport.

Prove it.

A simple google search gives a dozen articles from NBC, NY Times, CBS, and more about profits being down and viewership lower than last year.

"Profits are down", now that is funny. For example, if they made 100 million in 2016 and only made 75 million in 2017, yeah, profits are down, but still made 75 million. I would like for my profits to be down also.

Then you would be a terrible company to be happy to have a 25% decline. The comment I quoted said “they are making money hand over fist” and “more profitable than ever” which are clearly false.

according to this:

https://www.statista.com/statistics/...fl-since-2005/

they made 13.16 billion in revenue last season.

According to this:

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...-2017-revenue/

they are expected to make 14 billion this season. I'd say they are "making money hand over fist” and “more profitable than ever"
