Has anybody tried this wickerbill add-on for the stock SS spoiler?
Thinking about trying this rather than going with an entirely new setup. Does not look bad IMO.. What do you guys think?

Yup.
That review by 'InFiD3ViL' is me. I know, lame username, but it's my online gaming name going back 15 years lol. I absolutely love it. Just have to get a proper RivNut gun to mount it. The seller also sells them. I really like how it changes the side profile. Nice and aggressive. I lost .3 MPG though since I installed it. I do a lot of highway driving.

I seen your pictures on the review list! It does look good but I also found a painted ZL1 wing for about the same price. Now I have a decision to make

I just have to decide...carbon fiber or painted black. I also have concerns about the longevity of the wicker bill. I am sure I will get 3-4 years out of it, but IDK how much longer than that. My concerns are plastic fading and scratching. The installation was nerve-wracking, to say the least. You have very little room for error when you drill the holes, and they are pretty large holes at that. Good luck with you decision! You really can't go wrong either way.

SS Wickerbill
I too, modified a SS Spoiler. Made one out of aluminum and painted it body color. Thought I would want a Z28 Spoiler, I am happy with the look of the modified SS Spoiler.

Marty ice
My 2SS RS 2014 was upfitted with the GM 1/LE suspension package. Also has the Square 20 X 9 set up. 391 gears have been installed also. True not a 1/LE at birth though. Still have the wide ratio 6 speed. Not trying fool anyone. The stripes are a dead give away. So goes the personalized plates!!! Misfit-SS |

Might have been cheaper to go the other way and bought a 1le and then put stripes on it! : )

Maybe?
That's a topic for another Post. I think the Wickerbill spoiler is a good addition to any of the Camaro SS, 1LE or Z28 Deck Spoilers. Good luck Misfit-ss |

Looks good from the back, Still not sure if I like it over the Z28 or ZL1 spoiler though

Thinking about putting one on mine. I originally wanted to do the full Z28 spoiler with the WB, but when I pulled off my ZL1/1LE spoiler, I found that it had eaten some of the paint on my deck lid that the Z28 spoiler would not cover up. My car came with the ZL1/1LE spoiler from the factory and I had heard of it messing up the deck lid, which is why I pulled it off to investigate before ordering up the Z spoiler.

SS-Wickerbill
Yes, I used Riv Nuts and Stainless Set Screws to attach it to the Factory SS Spoiler. Used anodized Billet Fender Washers that I found on E-Bay.
It was difficult to drill the 1st Holes (a little nervous about messing it up) in the Spoiler! Used 3-M Trim Tape to help adhesion between the Spoiler and Wickerbill at final install. But it turned out pretty good, I think. Misfit-ss |
