Besides the handling, that was a... disappointing read. Maybe this is an example of terrible driving? Meh, only more car rags will tell.

^^ i have to agree. maby this is car is better on the track than it is on paper.
i mean the camaro ss, is just a little bit slower in alot of those test. and a nice set of coilovers will make the ss run with the boss 302. the ss is 20 hp down and 200pounds heavier than the boss that is practicly using r-comp tires... Camaro ss via inside line. the ss is also 10k cheaper. Drivetrain Drive type Rear-wheel drive Engine type V8 Displacement (cc/cu-in) 6,162 cc (376 cu-in) Block/head material Aluminum/aluminum Valvetrain Overhead valve Compression ratio (x:1) 10.7 Redline (rpm) 6,600 Horsepower (hp @ rpm) 426 @ 5,900 Torque (lb-ft @ rpm) 420 @ 4,600 Transmission type 6-speed manual Track Test Results 0-45 mph (sec.) 3.4 0-60 mph (sec.) 5 0-60 with 1 foot of rollout (sec.) 4.7 0-75 mph (sec.) 6.7 1/4-mile (sec. @ mph) 13.0 @ 110.9 Braking, 30-0 mph (ft.) 27 60-0 mph (ft.) 109 Slalom, 6 x 100 ft. im not sure what the point is of having the redline right at peak power for the boss. Im sure a tune will do wonders for these. Thats most likely why the stock numbers are what they are despite it putting down over 45rwhp more than an LS3 Camaro SS.

Finally someone agrees with me. push the redline back to 8k - 8.2k and a tune would do wonders.

I'm surprise this car is so heavy. The Ford Racing models are quite close to 3000lbs. What's the point of removing the rear seats if it's still so heavy?

love. my. car.
|
hey, any car that rotates the camshaft to give a more aggressive growl with a key is ok in my book! That being said, any car that I can't afford is too expensive. So that also means that the Chevrolet Suburban 4wd edition is too expensive too
All cars should cost under 30k starting so I can afford them!

Sounds like a crappy driver. People are getting those times from stock 5.0's.

![]() We'll get specific when the cars ship and hit the dyno's.... Mustang's are usually spec'd on the high side by, ohh, 20% ? Thing needs torque, that's for sure ... oh wait, it's a 302... nevermind
