just to clear any possible questions, this can be done on the 360 as well. in fact you can stream music from your computer onto the 360 during game play, i havent tried to on the ps3 to know for sure if thats possible or not.

us ps3 players dont even use our mics they have their mics turned on it is backround noise or someone eating chips

If you guys have a problem with the RROD issue then do what I did. Buy it from Best Buy and get the one year warranty on top of the Microsoft two year warranty.
With the Best Buy warranty they give you a brand new Xbox the same day. No questions asked.
And as for the RROD occuring because of people not taking care of them, that's BS. I've gone through 4 of them and the second one lasted 2 weeks so it wasn't my fault. But again thank god for Best Buy.

my first one RROD'd the night before halo 3 came out....so i bought a halo 3 Special edition xbox. it runs like a champ

PS3 is AWESOME! Let me tell you guys a little story.......... One day up here in NJ we had terrential rain and my basement got flooded 3 inches. And I keep my PS3 in my basement on the floor. After realizing my PS3 was helplessly downstairs and underwater, I quickly brought it upstairs and hooked it up to my upstair TV. Curious (and terrified) I hit the power button. It turned on with no problem at all after being underwater for a half an hour! Then it started to pump out water! Since then, I am commited to Playstation products. BUY THE PS3!!!!

Yep, that has to be a good game, cant wait for one of my friends to get a PS3, gonna be over sooo much, they wont want me over anymore.

one thing though as a note the kiddies at home.....dont do this....wait atleast 2-6 hours to allow electronics to dry out before turning them on....water resting on circuits untill it dires is ok....water sending electricity all over a circuit board = bad bad bad things

ok i have a lil story cause i'm bored/lonely right now

back after the N64 peaked sony released the ps2 then microsoft released the xbox well i was a ignorent little kid back then and was going to upgrade from my N64 to a ps2 well my mom and i were going to get the ps2 and her friend and her husband was there (he was a marine) he was trying to convince me to get a xbox and i was determined to get a ps2 i TOTALLY regret ever getting it over the xbox because later i got an xbox after thinking the ps2 was the greatest thing ever and boy... was i wrong... lets just say my ps2 hasn't been touched since then now i have a 360 and one of my buddies bout a ps3 i tried it.. well i was kinda dissapointed it was still cool but it had fallen short of what i expected i do kinda miss my ps2 though

had both, and the ps3 is far better. i love the fact that its a gaming system with far better power (7 core to 3 core comes in mind). you can call graphics "equal" when you compare multiplatfrm games, but exclusives, its not really close, and the ps3 isnt tapped out yet, just imagine when it is.

i run yellowdog linux 6 on my ps3 as well, nice having a blazing fast computer.

bluray, self explanitory.


so for 400-500 bucks you get a gaming system, bluray player, and a kickass pc
