My first car was a 72 Chevelle.. I've owned a few other makes and have always come back to a Chevy, now I dont buy anything but unless its a classic like the 70 Mopar I have... But even then I like the way Chevy does their ignition better and prefer a Chevy over all others... even converted the mopar ignition to Chevy style for ease of use

I will say that I'm at a spot in my life now where I will probably never buy anything but Chevy again. In the passed it was what I could afford with a family and usefulness all rolled up into only a certain number of cars that fit. Then what looked the best at that point. GM never fit at that point.

Loke I said before, I buy what I like. It happens to be Chevy. Absolutely proud to have an all Chevy driveway with the Vette and Camaro and if they were Fords then I'd still have them. OR, if Ford or Chrysler, or even Nissan etc, bought the Camaro or Vette from GM, I'd still have them.

I know, fickle.

Totally !!! We ( my parents) had Plymouth fury wagons growing up II and III... hahahaha
But yes I was not going to deal with that crap so the new MSD ready to run dist went in and new coil and voila.. starts everyday and runs good

I will say the Volare I had with the slant 6 ran for 265,000 miles before I toasted the engine by forgetting to check the oil.... was the proverbial young and dumb 19 yr old and it seized on me at 2am one night on the way home.. had to jog 5 miles to get home.. this is back in the day when the motorolla cell phone was huge and no one had one but business owners ...lol

Disagree. Easier to kill off the imports with the absolute garbage they're producing right now. GM, Ford, and Chrysler are all back to making class-leading cars.

Started on a Honda, moved to VW, now am Chevy/Honda.

Would have bigger props for Euro-imports but the cost to maintain them is too dang high. Love Hondas cuz' modular engine bay design so you can swap stuff easy, like I am with my old LXi.

Love Chevy/Caddy design changes since they started going with hard body lines. Never much liked the more rounded looks of Fords.

I like cars that people can be enthusiastic about. I may not agree with the enthusiasm, but it takes all kinds to keep car culture alive.

Ask yourself, what exactly does it do for you to spend your hard earned $$ exclusively to a single car maker? What? I mean, if you work for the car company then yes, loyalty is understandable. If the car maker is paying your kids' college or your mortgage, sure, be a die hard fan. I have owned nearly 50 cars in 22 years, I love them all. It is what being a car enthusiasts is all about.

How boring would it be if we all like the same thing?

I love my Camaro, but when I went to go buy a truck the best options for what I was wanting were in an F-150... I don't regret my decision at all.

I say it's all about the preference on what you like to drive. Don't be loyal and hate something, it isn't good for anybody
