Hey, Buzzardz_vette may be on to something! You might even be able to find a vinyl wrap to match the color of your car. If so, that would make your wait for an actual painted top easier to bear. I'd touch base with a local vehicle wrap company and see what they might be able to do.

Good luck! And remember, regardless of what you do with the top, the car will be absolutely spectacular!

I agree. I have the transparent roof and was going to cover it in carbon fiber vinyl. I bought a roll on ebay for $22. Just type in the descriptive words BELOW and search.

60" x 48" 5FT x 4FT Black Carbon Fiber Vinyl Wrap Sheet 3D Film Bubble Free

Well, I chickened out and instead cut a piece to fit the inside of the top. It blocks the sunlight completely and looks pretty decent.

Personally I think the roof with painted lines on the edges looks weird. They start at the back window and suddenly stop at the black A-frame pillar. Stripes to nowhere. Whereas the lexan roof looks black and flows nicely from windshield and black A-frame to the roof brace.

jashobbsie...so how did that work...getting both tops? I am very much interested in knowing. I did that years ago, but the dealer had to get the transparent top through his "parts department".

btw...awesome car!!!
