Hey, Buzzardz_vette may be on to something! You might even be able to find a vinyl wrap to match the color of your car. If so, that would make your wait for an actual painted top easier to bear. I'd touch base with a local vehicle wrap company and see what they might be able to do.
Good luck! And remember, regardless of what you do with the top, the car will be absolutely spectacular!

It blocks the sunlight completely and looks pretty decent. Personally I think the roof with painted lines on the edges looks weird. They start at the back window and suddenly stop at the black A-frame pillar. Stripes to nowhere.
