OP, it's completely natural to feel the way you are feeling right now. when you spend time with someone for any given period of time, you are going to get attached in one way or another. don't know how much you guys shared with each other, but nonetheless, you guys probably spent some good times and some not so good times together. both of you are still so very young and there is plenty of time for healing.

it's not fair to any person if they are just being "dragged along". it's better that you did what you did

Yep, consider yourself lucky that one party didn't like the other, that's an easy split. Could be worse I just broke up with mine because she had to go back home to take care of her dad with stage 4 cancer. If I was going to go with her it would require a 18k pay cut and put my career 5 years back.

Yes sir that was the only issue. I tried for a good long year to find something in the Detroit area (where we're both from and where her dad is) but there isn't anything close in pay and stature to what I'm currently doing in my field. Dated for 2 years, planned on getting hitched and tried the long distance deal. Its horrible her dad has to go through this, he just took a 20 year retirement from the Wayne County Sheriff's Office this past year.

Happy to share She's truly the LOVE of my life and my very 1st love. When I saw her cute lil butt jumping over the fence to sneak out with me on a blind date I was set up on, My buddies GF couldn't sneak outa her house, so she stayed at Catalina's house! I saw two girls, one heavy and one athletic, jumping over a fence, my bud Roger being the joker he is said "hope you're a chubby chaser! The thick blonde is Catalina, Bro TY for takin one for the team!" Only reason I was even invited to be honest, Rogers car blew a motor, I had a car, he wanted to see Sandra, the heavier blonde girl! He's more of an ass than me man lol. I can't lie, when I saw one cute leg come over the wood fence, then the other cute long leg, I was excited and thought she had the cutest lil bubble butt I'd ever seen, when she got closer to us I was able to see her HUGE eyes, (yes I really mean eyes), she had the face of an ANGEL. I was so nervous I was besides myself, I know I can be an ass and have been in other threads, I know many do not agree with my protagonistic point of view,(it's all about me lol) however, I was in love with the most beautiful thing in my life and honestly my life has been all about HER! Naw dude. Your young and dating 2 years isn't long at all. I was with the same person for 11 years been together since I was 14. Just recently we took a break, life has a way of working out. In this relationship I was sure was forever we grew up together, survived college (I went to PHX), family losses and injuries. Now its time for the growing up and seeing if time is just needed. Not trying to sound rude but your young only 2 yrd and lossing interested...yeah go be nice to her. If it fizzles that quick there's wasn't that spark.

But take time your young live your life enjoy single life and work on yourself.
