Oh, BTW, nobody will ever accuse me of driving slow....well, except people like this moron.

but yeah, daily a-holes, and I'm honestly surprised there aren't more accidents.

Also, if you are in the Denver area, and you get into a fender bender and cause an hour of backups because you wanted to drive 2 inches behind the guy in front of you doing 65, I'm the guy that drives by and yells "Learn how to drive you jerk!!".
so your the rubber necker that slows the traffic down even more than the wreck itself, thanks, thanks for doing that man.

Was that you I had to swerve to avoid being rear ended this morning? I mean why are you offended that I let those a-holes know that they drive like sh!t? Is it because you have been the perpetrator of extreme tailgating resulting in said fender benders causing entire city's work forces to be delayed on the highway for an hour or more?

no, i don't have to slow down at all to roll down my window, in fact the "accident" i mean, moronic wreck, I described has already slowed 10 thousand cars down, so...nope, no extra inconvenience for anyone behind me. I'm actually one of the few drivers on the road that understands what is going on around me, and that i'm not the only driver on the road...

I'll quote myself "Oh, BTW, nobody will ever accuse me of driving slow....well, except people like this moron."

Wow. The Shelby driver is clearly lacking in any kind of common sense or public decorum.

He should at least been cited for failure to control and demonstration of speed (or comparable) plus reckless operation in my view.

I hope they throw the book at him. But then, he will get some ambulance chasing attorney and get it bargained down to something like a stop sign violation.

And not learn a damned thing.

That was thePill's father.

Having said that......

I've been around quite a few different car types and it's hands down, not even close. Mustang owners are def a different breed. They honestly believe the Mustang is the above all end all of all sports cars. On top of that, it's almost a daily occurance that some ass hat in a Mustang is always trying to race me. It's like some kind of "going in heat" trigger. When a Mustang owner sees another car, whether it a Camaro or Vette, they HAVE to race. It's like some golden rule that you aren't a Mustang owner until you race every fkn car you see on the streets. They are a pathetic bunch to say the least.

But anyhow, I avoid these meets like the plague.

Lawsuits against establishments hosting these and against organizers will put an end to car shows/gatherings that operate without a permit.

Though, i'd make the case that the state should be sued for providing someone who obviously can't drive a drivers license. Maybe a class action for all the people with property or bodily injuries due to gross stupidity behind the wheel?

Revamping the auto license system to tiers would do a lot to solve this problem. You shouldn't be allowed to issue a license that allows a person who meeked by a pass in a prius to drive a corvette. It's irresponsible.

test car mistakes at a test track for a car you've never driven before (i think this is the video of the jalopnik guy crashing the test camaro) are not the same as driving around on the public roads and learning how not to drive your car.

I'm not saying anybody should be doing this but some people are also saying you should let off the throttle if your car gets sideways. No you should not, but you also shouldn't floor it causing it to fishtail like this guy. He is an idiot for getting in a slide anyway, but if he let off he would have spun the other way. You have to give it enough gas to bring that back end around again and once it is around just go on your way, don't floor it and fishtail.

edit: just watched the whole video. None of these are comparable to the ass hat mustang drivers that keep crashing at cars and coffee events.

Unfortunately, that's not all that is contained. Lots of silly stupid reckless public driving.

It is that crash of the Z/28 at the ring that lead to GM cancelling the project.

Dude, what is the deal with truck drivers here? They are almost all complete @sses. I even saw a truck the other day with "Rollin' Coal" on the back of his cab windows

Always rolling coal, always riding people, and routinely try to race me. Like who are you kidding and also what's the deal

That's the drawbacks of an indendant rear suspension. A solid rear axle car would take hitting that curb and drive away with no problem.
