Wonder if Blackstone would be able to tell if my cam was going bad because of this lifter tap. Giving it a shot but I did drain out about 3/4 of a quart and it's noticeably quieter. Confused? Yes.

CG blows. Adams is my favorite for most stuff. Compound=deep scratches Polish=light scratches Wax=filler/protectant. Cleaner wax has some light abrasive properties.

Or get Meguiars Gold Class as its widely available pretty much everywhere that sells anything car related and its a really really good car wash.

See, you are just opening up for a lot of questions, based on your needs. It's best to start with the essentials, and work your way to the "nice to have" stuff. |

I like Meguiars 101 and 102 for compound and polish, then I have a few waxes/sealants from Meguiars, Detailers Pro, Duragloss, Surf City Garage and a few others. The ones I usually go to are Megs #26 wax and Duragloss 111. Good combo and seems to last a few months. Since we get a ton of pollen I like to use Finish Kare #425 spray detailer as it really helps keep pollen off my car. Check out the detailing section on here. Tons of info, but I would not jump into compounds or polishes just yet. Stick to getting the wash down perfectly (as in avoid adding scratches and or swirls to the paint) and get some good wax and or sealant along with a clay bar kit.

I did this polishing by hand. Look at the recommended product list in the detail section
