Did they get a 6.4L SRT8 by mistake? Or did they just mash the gas & assume tire smoke meant the car was going fast?

By all accounts the manual Challenger Hellcat is a PITA to launch with any consistency.

Also..the MT run was done on an unprepped surface, they said so very clearly. 11.7 @ 125 is what a Hellcat would run on the street with NO vht, nothing.

10:70s were on DRs says the source.

Dodge claims 11:00s on stock rubber. Car and Driver or M/T need to put the Hellcat Charger and a new Z06 on stock rubber together at the strip to battle it out it would be great reading or watching.

I like the Hell Cat but the ZO6 is in a completely different class. It's an absolute bargain considering it's performance.
