Thank you Donna. I'd best get some sleep. My buddy Captain Morgan stopped by tonight and I think I'm going to feel worse in the morning. This just sucks

I hate to hear this happen. I also hate a thief. Sometimes I loan money to people and never see it again. The best thing about that is you know the next time who NOT to TRUST. I know hindsight is 20/20 but in the future you will never be doing this again I hope. I know that won't get any of your stuff your missing back but consider it a hard earned lesson. I've been there and done that also.

Good Luck!!

that takes commitment. As for MF stealers....i leave it to God...what goes around comes around and a price will be paid for such a deed.....in a higher court of law....one the I dont have to witness but know will happen and be justified. I feel scared for those that hurt others this way.....you know?

Lol thanks for the advice Tag. I won't be blocking. Just got a call from a cop buddy of mine. He just spotted the wife walking the dog over in his area. Asked her where Pete was. She immediatly wanted to know if there was an arrest warrant out for him. Said she broke down when he told her what happened. Gave her address and phone number to him for me. She said he's a junkie and that's why she booted him. He stole from her family too. I'm going to remove his number and just let the cops deal with it and hope for the best. Hey it's a whole new day and the sun is shining. Think I'll load the kids in the camaro and go to the lake

Wow man, thats rough.

Id do what TAG said and stay on them about your claim.. only way it will get done.

And FOR SURE go check the local stores for anything looking like your stuff, he had to sell it somewhere... dont think he plans on wearing your wifes necklace.

Story for hope: couple years ago I had 2 custom made Fly Rod's stollen out of my garage. Filled a claim, called the police... nothing really helped. So anyways, I started checking out the local Pawn's, and found 1 of the poles after a couple days! Not sure what the guy was thinking trying to sell a pole with MY NAME ingraved into it...

Right after Hurricane Ivan, I had ALL of my power tools and other stuff stolen out of my garage. As it turns out, it was my fault for leaving the garage door open all night. But I was still realizing stuff missing months later.

My daughters favorite scripture is Romans 20:12 "Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head."
Not sure what this says about my daughter. lol A little vindictive but she's working on it.

Had a similar thing happen to my parents a few years back, only it was my aunt staying with us. Shes had a rough life in and out of jail, no ones fault but her own. When she got out last time my mom agreed to help her for a little while she got a job and such. She ended up working for awhile, made friends who didn't turn out to be the greatest, got back into her old ways and eventually started stealing from us. Took money while everyone was sleeping and disappeared. Eventually she wound up back in jail somewhere in Florida. Really can't trust a junkie, even if they claim to be clean.

It really is a sad world we live in. People have no respect for others or their property, as long as they can get one step ahead or get their fix, everything is fair game. It's getting so bad where I live that I can't even work on my own car in my garage behind my house because people have been getting mugged back there recently. A few nights ago found the fuel door of one of our cars open and the cap unscrewed, didn't find anything around the cap and no gas was missing but it still irritates me that someone would have the nerve to even f' with someone's $hit like that. I'm almost paranoid to buy a Camaro when you can't even leave it in a parking lot for 5 minutes without someone touching it or whatever.

seriously hope you get all of your belongings back, if anything the sentimental stuff...

I was on my way to the Tom Henry cruise yesterday when I got a call. It was the bad guys sister. Gave me the address he's staying at, which street to check pawn shops on, when he's due back in Pittsburgh etc. I left voicemail for the officer and will head down today to check the pawnshops if they are open. His sister just ask that I don't be the one to go looking for him. No problem there I'd rather he gets arrested instead of me. Spoke to his wife last night. It was very hard to understand her through the crying but she wants him put away too. Getting that call gave me a glimmer of hope for humanity.
