Good morning crew. It is a crisp cool but clear morning here & that is pretty much the theme for the day. Warming just a bit tomorrow. No big plans for the weekend except getting Ruby & Red Raider ready for next week's big club event. I am still sad that I won't be able to have my headers & tune installed before the event but it will still be fun. Early forecast looks like we could have the perfect day for it. I hope that holds. Have a great weekend everyone.

I had a pretty good day but I am ticked off. My hair had gotten really shaggy & long & looked terrible. I looked like a Raggedy Ann doll. Next weekend is the club's spring drag race & car show event so I needed to get it cut. My usual girl that cuts my hair was not there & the one I got, butchered my hair. I like it razor cut & not very many folks know how to do it. Her razor slipped & there is a very short spot in the middle of one side. In her attempts to keep me from seeing it she did not taper the sides like she should have. It became clear she did not know what she was doing & I just told her at some point it was fine knowing if she kept it up I would be bald soon. I had to come home & cut a good bit off the sides myself but there is no fixing the spot where she slipped until it grows out some. So now instead of looking like a Raggedy Ann at the club event, now I will look like a boy. Well, at least it is only hair, It will grow back.

But I got Ruby detailed except I need to work some more on the wheels & tail pipes. Mike & I also went for a nice walk this morning. Just on our street but It still felt good to be out in the air & get a little exercise. I sprinted a bit a couple of times & I can tell my lungs are getting out of shape since I don't have my dance class anymore.

That sucks Jan, maybe you can style your hair like Pat Benatar. Just a suggestion. You could wear a Camaro hat if all else fails.

New renters moved in next door. Looks like he is into hunting and fishing. No cool cars in the garage, only a bass boat and junk.

Had a great time at the Pavilions cruise. Didn't take many photos, so I won't post any this week. Next weekend is Cruise On Central, a big deal here in Phoenix. Extended forecast says it will be 96*. Gonna be a hot one.

That sounds like fun Rick. I do like Pat Benatar, but I'm still not happy about the hair. Dang that hot already? I would not like that. I hope our spring weather holds on for a while this year. We had a couple of years with little typical spring & fall weather; going too quickly from winter weather to summer temps. I do like my 4 equal seasons.

I'm going to color my hair this morning so at least there will not be silver/gray hair shining through in the boy-cut hair. Then off to see my dad & pick up a few needed items. Have a good Sunday everyone.

JUST moved back to Nebraska from Surprise... It's going to maybe hit 60 up here today, but I'd rather be in 96 degrees down there! Not much to do up here but watch the corn grow - I'm already missing my hiking adventures up around Lake Pleasant, stopping in at the Wild Horse West... Guess I'll have to keep busy driving my SS :-)

I live close to Lake Pleasant.

Went to a local swap meet they have monthly at the community college. Found a 1st edition "Camaro, The Third Generation" by Michael Lamm. Can't believe all of the work that went into the final design!

When I return home, I worked on the Dakota. It got an oil change, tires rotated, and two vacuum hoses replaced that (hopefully) were the cause of p0445 and p0442 codes. I erased the codes and the check engine light did not light up again.

Gonna see if I can get this pool build going again this week.

Good morning crew. Rainy morning here & it will rain off & on all day. I had gotten over my cold mostly but I guess I should not have done that walk & spring with Mike this weekend. There was a high pollen count and It apparently aggravated my respiratory system. I am coughing & kind of wheezy now. I need my coffee now. Have a good Monday.

The LORD bless thee and keep thee.
The LORD make His face to shine upon thee, and be gracious to thee.
The LORD turn His face toward thee, and give thee peace.
