I get flamed for saying this, but the LLT Camaros are here to look pretty and sound good. They are not quick outside of for a few seconds duribg spray. I got lost chasing a few extra horses listening to people on here with all their butt dynos. DT shorties were tits and I miss them.

So why are you doing it?

I have to agree with you on this. My LLT is fast enough for me to enjoy driving it but I have no illusions that I am the fastest car on the road. I put a CAI and exhaust on it for better sound but all my other mods will just be cosmetic. It is a damn nice looker though after almost 3 years of ownership we still have random people tell us how beautiful it is almost every time we drive it. That is enough for me but if I ever want a really fast car I will probably look for a V8 Camaro or a Corvette.

You need three mufflers with long tubes.

Yeah I always called it that until it was in my hands. Definitely a muffler, looks nothing like an X. More of a big H muffler

The welder looked at me like an effing retard when I told him I wanted the x pipe in the trunk welded after the cats. He's like, there's no x pipe in your trunk. Do you want me to weld the muffler? Lol

I agree, the LLTs are definitely upsetting when almost any new V6 will put up a good fight against. But they do look amazing, and that is why I believe everyone chases that big power, because they have such a nice looking car, they grew attached and don't want to give up on it. I wish it were so fast it were scary, but hopefully my turbo setup will go through.

I used to have big plans for this car. I think from now on I'm just gonna go pure cosmetic mods and keep it as a long term DD. Someday I'll be able to afford a performance vehicle that I don't have to drop ten additional grand into to have fun.

Umm then your welder didn't know the internal design. The resonated X pipe is by design a X pipe with baffles surrounding it. Yes it acts just like a muffler but internally it has a cross over to help with bringing the next "beat" of the engine.

Now that you mention it, he did leave his X Ray goggles at home that day. Shame on him.

No sense in arguing with you but simply put the resonated X pipe is not just a Muffler and any professional at a shop should know

I'm not arguing. I'm saying it's essentially a muffler and is one to anybody looking at it.

I know the design and what it is. I have one.

What happened to them? I love your brake calipers haha. Our cars look almost identical except my calipers are red and your car is lowered.
Well now that I have the 20" wheels

My performance plans? The cost/reward ratio is not there for this vehicle and my budget.
