Actually, the man has a point. For all the premature guff the Ecoboost concept has taken the cars that pack them under the hood, by all appearances, really move. The upcoming 2.5L Ecoboost four cylinder models should make for some very interesting times in cars like the Fusion and small suv's like the Escape. Ford looks prepped to have a slew of high to mid 13 second vehicles that aren't even tagged as performance cars.

low 11,10's and 9's and actually the z06 is faster in the qtr than the ZR1 will be..it's in the mid tens right now...maybe i'm just a 1320Junkie..1320 ft in a 1/4 mile..lol

1.4 liter turbos are on the horizon, as well as NA 1.4s and 1.6s generating power for electrics- I'm pretty sure there is no reason to be concerned about every car being a track car. Well I take that back, I've seen VW Buses at Firebird pulling low 20's. So yes, I agree, everything is a track vehicle.
