So I dropped about 170 calories worth of carbs/day this week, and added about 250 calories worth of cardio to the end of my workouts. I. Am. Spent.

1.8 pounds down this last week. A little more than I was shooting for. 178.2 this morning. Only another 4-5 pounds to go!

Ok. Monday I start to work out again. I just lost 30 pounds since March. Haven't started doing any exercising so it's time.

I'm gonna make Bonnie look like a couch potato.

Does anyone have any tips on getting your mile time down? Skip's PT test is in a week and he needs to run 1.5 miles in 13.33 (thats the minimum) and right now he is sitting around 13.25 no matter how much he runs and he doesn't want to cut it that close.

I week is not much time but one way is if you run with ankle weights for a period of time untill he can run the same time as without
them, then when running without them you will have new found speed.

Hills. You'd be amazed...

Also, tell him to load up on a little extra sodium and good carbs the day before, and a nice source of carbs the morning of.

Thanks I will!

He ran again last night and did it in 12.56! His goal is to run like a 12 by next Saturday, so here is to hoping!
