The only cars that should have lambo doors, are the cars that come with lambo doors to begin with from the factory.

I can't count how many times that I see Hyundai's history being brought up. Is that all everyone has? It's called history for a reason. Look at what they are producing right NOW. The quality has went way up. That's like bragging about how many superbowls your team won or how many world series or stanely cups. That's great if they did, but unless it just happened, it doesn't matter.

I have never seen any "import" guy bring up anything negative to say about domestics, except for the fact that muscle cars can only go in a straight line. Most of the time, I see nothing but respect from those drivers.

You see the post from the guy who traded in his 2011?

Worst, the dealership's service department was definitely not ready to step up to the level of customer service and sat that Hyundai marketing is pushing the brand to (or trying to). Actually started to hate driving it with the ridiculous electric steering it has. They aren't "there" yet, trust me.

PS: As for my choice of a V6 Camaro, while I (and I suspect others) can easily afford the V8, I chose NOT to afford it. There may be those who don't have to put any thought into the extra several thousand because they literally have it to spare, or CHOSE to afford it - good for them. But there's a big difference between not being ABLE to afford something and choosing to put your money elsewhere. Continuing to insult people who have the LS/LT's really drags this site down, in my opinion of course.

Your Sonata experience sounds alot like my brother's experience with his Cadillac CTS, except he is having more than just the leaky sunroof which is so bad it leaves 2 to 3 inch pool of water in his passenger floorboard and has shorted out the seat heater and climate controls for the passenger side. And of course crappy caddy service at the dealer, yes it is out of warranty for that, but the missing enine and rough shifting transmission should be covered under the drivetrain warranty and the dealer keeps dicking around on it. Oh, his wifes 06 Optima has had a total of one issue since they have had it, a sticking brake caliper, replaced and fixed and NO other issues. the CTS has around 63k miles, the Optima around 100k.

If your aunt had a car that fell apart in a short amount of time, sounds like it was her issue and not hyundais..... And do you think American car Companies haven't made their fair share of crap? ESPECIALLY in the 80s and 90s????????

I think it is more the stupid comments like "there is no gayer car" that he is referring to, those comments are stupid as can be and completely childish.

those type of people always try to use a performance thing/heritage argument are the people that feel they are better than the people that could not afford the "top of the line" car.

Ah yes the media, American public, import drivers, blah blah. Let's bad mouth everyone who has a differing opinion. I'm glad we can all point and laugh at a company who's made a good amount of mistakes and is really making strides to get themselves back in line. We're not saying they're perfect, we're saying they're improving. Because they can never measure up to a perfect company like GM who's never made a mistake...oh wait.

Since when has Hyundai been pushed positively by our media? Hyundai is making strides because they fulfilled a market that other manufacturers were lacking in: extremely cheap cars with desirable features. Now they've been taking advantage of a growing customer base and are trying to expand into other markets.

As for foreign car companies moving factories into the states, well you can thank the wonderfully retarded protectionist BS policies, pushed by economically ignorant Americans, that force foreign manufacturers to assemble their cars here to avoid tariffs. Oh how I wish just 2/10 Americans understood how counter-productive protectionism is and how it all started with chicken tariffs in the UK
