I also am using an App for my iphone called My Fitness Pal. it helps me track calories and puts me on realistic goal and as I lose it adjusts the intake. It is a calorie counter/diary and also accounts for excercise. After a pretty good holiday season I am back on track and down 13lbs overall. Still have a way to go but I think I have something that works.
Good luck to everyone!
Congrats to your 13 pounds! Thats great! How much do you need to lose, whats your goal?

I just rubbed them in a bit of EVOO (as Rachael Ray would say-olive oil) & lemon pepper. Then baked them in a covered casserole dish. I cut them up & put them on thin whole wheat sandwich rounds spread with a bit of dijon mustard, added red, yellow, orange & green pepper strips & a 1/2 slice of low fat mozerella cheese. I wrapped them in waxed paper (for microwaving) then placed them in freezer bags & froze them. They will be easy to grab & go in the mornings.
Sweet! Thats how I live! Good for you freezing your food for the week, it is the way to go!

Soreness has set in following Fridays workout. That's okay, it hurts good. I don't mind that sort of pain and was expecting it. I plan to workout some ore tonight to work out some of it. I'm trying out my new Zumba class tomorrow after work and my new lunch sandwiches that I made this week. If the class works out, my new schedule will be Zumba Mon, Aerobic line dance Tue & Th & weights Wed, Fri & Sun. (I wil be working late on Wed so I won't count on getting anything done that day & Sat will be my day of rest.
The bad news is My motehr-in-law cooked a HUGE dinner tonight for hubby's birthday. No telling how much working out it will take to work that off. :( But Man was it good. Good thing Birthdays only come once a year!

Sounds like you have a pretty solid plan Janice!!! You should certainly meet your goals!!! And don't worry about your "cheat"...as long as it doesn't become a habit you will be just fine! Like you said, birthdays are only once a year so celebrate!!

Yes, keep us posted on your progress!

It's Monday!! You have two choices - you can either fall into the same old habits as last week and the week before, that kept you from moving forward toward your goals. OR - you can make even ONE small change that starts a positive chain reaction toward the life you were MEANT to live! Let's DO this!!..

Time to workout! have a great day everyone!
