Okay, I got help from an environmental colleague; your quote is from that great photographer of Yosemite National Park, Ansel Adams. I have often thought of him as one of those who most influenced me to take up photography as a serious amateur, no snap-shots here.

So, I'm way off of the mark...
I expect this quote might therefore be from a KID who THINKS he/she has had it hard for whatever reason. They're so grown up now that they deserve the job-well-done respite that they imagine adults receive (at least in their mind's eye vision of what adults do). Is this from a teenage personage such as Just'a Beaver? or that child-vixen-daughter singer whose father is of "Achey Breaky" notoriety? |
