At least the Charger has bold, muscular styling and a couple features to tie into the name. The 04-06 GTO's were Pontiac blobs, size: large.

Maybe I'm the only one, but the modern Charger is no better fit for the name than the Charger from the 80's. I hate them both.

it would be in the best interest of GM to not have any internal direct competition for camaro. this means no Trans Am or GTO.

this is what killed camaro in the first place

How would that negatively affect the camaro if there wasn't a pricing gap? A sold car is a sold car, weather it be a pontiac or a chevy, no?
I can understand why we'll never see a factory produced 650hp Camaro... it would cut into corvette sales which cost more. So as long as they're in the same price bracket, it's all the same in the end? Or am i missing something?
