Did the 5 day workout thing last week and it SUCKED. By Thurs, Fri I was whipped and my workouts suffered a bit. I did 1 hour of weight lifting and 35 mins of cardio M-F. That's not gonna work.

I'm going back to my MWF routine this upcoming week. I'm gonna throw in 45mins of Cardio on Tues and Thurs and see how that goes. All that working out on reduced carbs = crash.

Bonnie, you are the bomdiggity. I'm making some of your Mexican Chili right now and my taste tests tell me I'm gonna love this stuff. I eliminated the corn and one can of beans, and added a 16oz can of sliced black olives.

Oddly, I grabbed my cell phone at the store like I was gonna some how call you to see what "mexican diced tomatoes" were I couldn't find them at the store so I just went with diced tomatoes with green chilles.

The good news is I'm pretty ripped. I'll see what the data shows tomorrow, but it may be time for me to go back in to maintenance.

Good choice with the tomatoes, you really can't go wrong, you can always buy the regular diced tomatoes and spice it up with cajun spice an chilli powder! Sounds like its gonna be great!
lol @ (bomdiggity)

Last time I was at the gym and the power went out, I almost flew over the front of the treadmill when it suddenly stopped!!

That is freakin INSANE on your leg presses and squats!!! Awesome job!!

Well it looks like I lost my workout buddy. :( Somehow Skip hurt his foot pretty bad. He doesnt remember injuring it. But the ball of his foot is swollen and he can't walk on it. They wont even let him go to work. So now I will finish Insanity and start P90X alone. But thats what you guys are for. MO-TIVATION!

I've always worked out alone, I tried working out with a friend but she just wanted to talk and have a girl pow wow.....sometimes your better off working out by yourself, thats why I like the gym now....my workouts are tailor made for me and most people are there for the same reason.

Holy Smokes!! You got that tan in ONE weekend??? Now I REALLY hate you!!! Ha ha....just kiddin...you know I love ya!!

Yea, I like having someone to meet at the gym to help keep me accountable, but I don't really want to work out with them because it slows me down. I was stoked about this girl asking for help, but it has turned my workouts into being twice as long because I have to stop and show her every exercise and I don't seem to get as good of a workout. I'm still happy to help her though, but am honestly looking forward to her being on her own. Is that wrong?

I just finished yoga...I REALLY needed it!! I love how invigorated yet relaxed it makes me feel!

BTW, I am now (and have been for a while now) doing a modified P90X program. I don't have room in my living quarters to do P90X (I literally have just enough room for a bed and a small walkway...my closet at home is bigger than this room!!), so I have modified the program a little and have taken the routine to the gym.

I do good working out alone but I like having Skip or Logann work out with me. They don't talk alot but having someone else there makes me feel competitive and I push myself harder.

I didn't think I had that much weight to lose really, so I'm a bit surprised it's like 15 lbs thus far. Seems like a lot since I've just been focusing on the body fat for the most part. As long as my strength stays I guess it's "OK".

I've got the P90X Yoga...I may have to go ahead and add it at home....and your doing awesome Donna, so many people would give so many excuses why they shouldn't stay with it where your at....and great job on modififying it to work for you!

Yeah, you don't want to lose that muscle you worked so hard for, but I may have to see pix to see exactly what you mean! lol

well there is nothing wrong with being humble! But ( you new there was gonna be a but ) No one should work as hard as you do to hide! So...... you should come to the dark side and join the fun!
