So I ordered P90X a few days ago. Me and Skip have done Insanity before and we still incorporate it into our workout routines now and we really enjoy it but he isn't as coordinated as me and sometimes he has really bad form because of it so I think maybe P90X will help him build some of those stablizer muscles and help him build some coordination... Worth a shot! Plus its always fun to try something new.

I have been doing P90X and just tried Insanity for the first time yesterday. It was only one work out, but I am pretty sure I like P90X better. Since I had such big lung issues yesterday and couldn't breath throughout the day today, I decided not to hit the gym today, but will certainly give the Insanity another go-round once my lung capacity is back to normal. I hope it won't be too long because not being able to do cardio is gonna kill me!!

Anyway, you will love P90X!! And if you stick with it, you will REALLY love the results!!

Insanity can feel very chaotic, I know. But I used to have weak lungs too I guess you can say, and it definately helped my lung capacity with running and such. I stuck with Insanity, 90days just seems like forever but Skip is really excited so as long as we keep eachother motivated we should be good to go!

Here is a recipe I found on eattingcleangettinglean.com.

The Scramble

INGREDIENTS

1 pack organic ground turkey breast
1 chopped onion
1/2 each chopped yellow and red sweet pepper
1 bag chopped spinach
1/2 cup brown rice, cooked
1 chopped tomato
dash cinnamon, crushed chili flakes
garlic powder (or garlic clove, crushed)
sea salt (just a touch!) and fresh ground black pepper
a spritz of olive oil, or a drizzle

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat a large pan over medium heat. Spritz with EVOO and add onions and peppers. Cook until they begin to soften, and then add ground turkey.
Once turkey is brown, add spinach and tomato. Cook for another minute or two, and add rice.
Add all seasonings and mix well.

(And you can interchange the veggies with whatever you want. I like squash, onions, mushrooms, and edamame.)

Lunch today... Salmon, asparagas and a half a cup of my turkey/brown rice scramble. WOOHOO!!

Only thing I hate about being really active is I feel I'm ALWAYS HUNGRY. Insanity Plyometic Cardio on the workout schedule today... Hopefully I knock it out quick but the AC is out at the house so that may require a tad more breaks.
