anybody can say anything, gm actually has to prove that the headers did break somthing ex...your a/f is 11 running the engine leaner and a piston ring broke because of the headers changed your a/f causing the piston ring to brake

More like you have to prove that the headers aren't responsible in court. GM can void the warranty at their discretion.

If I tune my car would the warranty automatically be voided? If I switch back to the stock tune when bringing it into the dealer would it be less likely to be noticed?

What I've read leads me to believe NO on the first question and Yes on the second, but just want to hear it from you all.
if you have aftermarket parts, and something is wrong with your car, the dealer will check for a tune. even if you go back to stock tune, they will know.

that's a negative. GM has no tools to check for tunes on a v6 as of right now.

i think that for some reason, they didn't think anyone would mod a v6 camaro, so they didn't care...

Well if it ever gets to the point where I have a serious failure, my father has enough weight to throw around at GM to have a dealer he knows overlook it and perform work as if it was completely stock. Just not sure if he'll be working there for as long as my 5 year warranty is.

maybe it's because they weren't worried about someone wanting to tune or mod it because it was only a V6.
