No, I'm just tired of this Mustang thread. I honestly wouldn't hate it as much if you guys had this conversation in a Mustang forum. I would probably even feel inclined to visit a Mustang forum and read and discuss it there.

It was in the right section none the less. I think the conversation was going just fine. It was short to shut it down in the manner it was.

New Boss runs 11.7s on drag radials

Not trying to start a flame war but...

This car is supposedly factory stock with the exception of drag radials.

It ran a 12.2 @ 116.9 on the street tires.

I don't know what you're talking about. Just because the conversation is going fine, doesn't mean anything. Notice there are no Camaro owners in the conversation?
Why not just go to a Mustang forum and have this conversation there? There are way too many Mustang threads on Camaro5.

I became a member of this forum to directly dispute anything related to the 5th generation Camaro. Forums that are mainly one sided are painstakingly dull and never really survive very long because debate sparks interest. I will admit, it becomes harder to debate in certain areas of the forum when I am banned from them. I will also admit that I understand why such measures are taken.

Over the last couple weeks I have seen some Ford brand extremist clutter some of the threads with nonsense and I personally do not condone those types of hit and runs. Camaro5 is arguably the capitol of the current Camaro state and jabs from it's members on the Mustang will attract extremist of all sorts.

If I was on here just making stuff up and "making mistakes", I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have made it this long. I have been respectful for the most part and tried to remain informative on both sides. If the moderators choose to protect the majority of the Camaro5 public from any of my findings or semi-educated analysis then so be it. I love to dispute, that's the reason I post on this forum... The monthly sales will be out in a day or so and I will be here to dispute those too (if im not banned)because I would rather argue with someone from the other side then agree with someone on mine.

I know weight is a sensitive topic, it will be even more painfully so if it isn't beaten into the minds of team Camaro before hand, ensuring that every measure is taken. I would ask one of the team the question directly, how much will it weigh. I have seen the question asked but never a direct answer.

Anyway, for now, I will debate whatever comes up... down here in general automotive and wait until one of the Camaro guys come down and have something automotive to talk about. This is a fact though, there will be a huge showdown between to monster vehicles in less than 12 months. Limiting what is allowed to be debated, disputed or argued about would limit this forums traffic dramatically .... during a time when it should be overflowing with enthusiast...

Edit: Sorry for any misspelling, on my iPhone in the hospital.

why is there a General Automotive + Other Cars Discussion in a camaro forum?

i seem to me camaro owners cant stay away from this section, the only thing us need to do is just ignore the thread.

I have an idea why doesn't Ford do away with the Boss and the GT500 and build another affordable Cobra

the only thing keeping the GT500 from being a Cobra are the shelby badges......and why get rid of the Boss????
