Wasn't sound so much as smell: My dog dragging a dead baby skunk in through the dog door, playing with it in the living room at 3 am... worst "smellarm clock" ever.

I tell people if they come to my house in the middle of the night, do NOT try to be quiet, in fact, sing God Bless America very loudly so I know not to shoot you.

Peoples, effing music with WAY too much bass! My solution is to just aim my 12" sub at the sound and blast away. Usually shuts them up when stuff falls off their walls.

THe Joys of living in the middle of nowhere lol, for me though its someone moving around in the house, the kids or my husband lol.

or power going out, lol.

I sleep with a fan or a heater on (or both) so noise doesnt bother me, but sometimes my kids will get up in the middle of the night & turn on the tv to get themselves back to sleep lol Normally Yell at them to go back to bed. or my husband sneaking home early from work, smelling of jet fuel lol. GAGGGGG

OR my husband SNORING in my ear, Hey hun we had another earthquake, STOP SNORING lol

lol Try living next to a Airforce base lol, They start up those jets & car alarms go off for miles around the base lol.

This morning I was woken up by some men re-landscaping the flower bed right outside my bedroom window. Apparently, they dropped a wheelbarrow full of rocks on the sidewalk!

It would have been nice to know there would be work going on...

Another time I woke up when I heard the toilet flush and the tank refilled. I live alone, so I don't know how it happened...

Nope, I'm the only living thing in my one bedroom apartment. The only thing I can think of, is that the tank ball didn't seal correctly so water was leaking slowly until there was enought water in the bowl to flush.
