I'm saying the website is lying about even speaking to 'dealers'. The dealers will not break an NDA for a small website like the one he posted. It puts no money in the dealers pockets and opens themselves up to a huge liability.

Lord, Allpar is a great site and DOES have people on the inside, and FYI a lot of the same was posted on other sites. Most of us knew this was coming for at least a year. Have you even looked at the stuff they have shown already? THe new interior on the wrangler, the new Durango, the new Grand CHerokee which is on lots now, peaks at the new Charger, the Patriot, the refreshed Town and Country. You just do not WANT to see it. Like GM, Chrysler is maing major strides!

Care to explain this brief interview (second story brief) with the COO from AutoNation dealership network (largest dealer network in the US) praising the new vehicles they've been shown?

But some say it could get a good deal more than that. In which case, they might be able to bring it down to 3.9 like you suggested. We shall see. But ~475 hp and 3.9s to 60? I don't see it.
i absolutely agree when i saw that number i was like wtf they are either hiding something or just overating it. but we have to wait and see. im just glad they stepped in and made it a point to revamp thesuspension and gearing which was a major flaw in the current challengers.

I just bought a traverse for the wife, and she's ready to trade it in on an 2011 GC already.
Looks like it's time to take it in the rear getting rid of such a new car. Thanks Chrysler for not coming out this thing sooner. I do believe that chrysler is in the midst of a come back.
The dodge truck is the best right now, the GC is hot, the challenger has the best looks and now is getting the power to match ,and there are a lot of good looking things coming down the pike. I hope to see them strong in the next couple of years.

I say Chrysler is heading in the right direction, but still has a long way to go. It looks like they are about to have another product cycle of trying to sell better but still inferior small and mid-sized cars using the halo of their top end products.

The Charger, 300, Ram, and Grand Cherokee are great, but everything else slotting in below them in the line up looks like more of the same, just with better interiors.

New Patriot: I can't tell the difference from the old one on the outside There are better choices in a small SUV.

New 200: They said their designers where targeting Lexus, not Toyota...then why does the 200 look so similar to (an old) Camry from the front? Fusion and Malibu are still better choices.

Dakota replacement: Is it still rumored to be a re-badged Nissan Frontier?

It is his job to only praise car companies. You will never hear anyone in the media talk bad about any future product. It is only positive spin or media silence.

THe visual changes to the patriot are new grill, bumbers and cladding, the good stuff is underneither where all 4x4s have an extra inch of ground clearance (bringing it from 8-9 inches to 9-10 class killing inches) and supposedly all will have a low range also, not to mention the best 4x4 fuel economy in it's class, it also gains aome additional touches to the refreshed for 09 interior which includes more softtouch materials, the new steering wheel, uconnect and a new center console. Have you ever driven a PAtriot? the 09s covered most of the issues with my 07 and the 11 finishes, also I average 26mpg in mixed driving and pull up to 31 on the highway, hardly inferior.

We really havn't seen the 200 as a whole, but did you see that it will a DUAL CLUTCH 6 speed auto that aparently with the 283 HP pentastar will provide 29 hwy MPG, not to mention the heavily revised interior/exterior styling and COMPLETELY reworked suspension. It is going to be more competitive than you think.

THe Dakota is an unknown, but will NOT be nissan based, I had never even heard that. THe Rumor was they would be getting small cars from nissan, but that alliance is apparently dead and the small cars will of course be coming from Fiat

Don't go discounting cars we don't have the whole story on, they aren't going to half ass these things.

id like to see this new mid truck they're coming out with to replace the Dakota... in a couple years ima need a new truck and since Ford doesn't want to update the Ranger, this may be an option!

the jeep pickup might be an option too, that would probably be more in the ranger size.
