I like riding bikes so I want an active dog...but at the same time...he has to be HUGE! And HUGE dogs aren't known for them being active...or last long enough to go running for a couple of miles lol

I would get a German Shepperd in a heart beat...but my German Shepperd I grew up with is about 16 old...so I don't give him one more year to go...I get sad every time I see him...and the wife has the same experience with her deceased Boxer...

Pits are nice...but everyone and their mother (literally) has one where I live...

I've been leaning more toward a Doberman lately though...

Have you considered an ex-racing Greyhound? There are many rescue groups for them. They are gentle and big couch potatoes, but they need a lot of exercise because they are used to running. Some are not cat friendly, but many are and from what I know about them, the rescue agencies do a lot of work to socialize them and place them with the best matching families.

Dogs seem to be main choice of Camaro owners. I do agree that even though we own "Muscle" cars we all have a soft spot when it comes to our own pets. Thank you. I miss Henry.

Then there's hubby's outside hobby. He's a Master licensed falconer and trains a beautiful northern goshawk (Pez). He raises quail (namely for food).

So, yup, it's pretty much a farm here at our house.

Awesome!

Any video of Pez's dinner time??
