I love my LS1 and don't bash GM, but you can see how this is newsworthy especially for all the members that bashed the 5.0L for being maxed out from the factory and wouldn't be able to handle boost.

It would be nice to see GM package the TVS 2300 supercharger package and offer a similar warranty that way a new SS buyer could roll it all on a base SS loan for under $40k or 8k at the GMPP parts counter instead of paying $60k+ from a turn key tuner shop.

Yeah, I tend to agree, but thank god they do or these supercharger companies would probably not be around.

Lol.

What's the guesstimate for the 1/4 miles times with this badboy on there?

The Roush blower comes with a 3/36. As do quite a few others. But unless I'm mistaken, FRPP is the only one out right now that still honors the powertrain warranty. At least for 12 months anyway.. All others only warranty the blowers and parts that come with it. Not the powertrain..

And for the record. I guess I'm a fellow Ford nuttswinger member, but I've never bashed on the Maro. I'm a fan of it. And the Challenger/Charger as well.. Just happen to like Mustangs more is all..

Enjoy it while we can, when the EPA sets CO2 standards, the new pony car era will end.

I'm about 2 weeks into my 2011 5.0 and all I'm saying is it's about time someone put out a mustang with nearly double my horse power. I mean really, I can barely get to the gym with only 400 and change hp.

At least with the 750 hp shelby I will be able to merge with freeway traffic without creating a giant blockage for the flow of traffic.

The above is sarcasm. The absurdity of 750 HP on a street driven car with a relatively small contact patch is freakish. The zr1 has P335/25ZR20 running in the back and I'm sure they prove insufficient for 130 less ponies.

That said, I'd take one in a minute. Just got to find a way to justify it financially???

Great kit and offering. Ford/Whipple will be offering an amazing kit. I will be looking into it for my little 5.0.

As a note, I just don't get all the brand bashing. Both Ford and Chevy are AMERICAN car companies. Both have great products. I drove both and bought the mustang. I was open to the Camaro, but for me the mustang was just the car I'd rather drive.

As someone said, give Ford their kudos without all the ragging. The new mustangs handle great, accelerate like a mad man, and have an interior and features that are absolutely awesome. If you haven't driven one with the electronics package, you need to. Likewise, what the hell is not to like about a big fat ls motor in a sexy body. The camaro is a beast and arguably better looking than the 2011 mustang.

Now let's go out there and beat up some caymans, STIs, EVOs......
