Well I think it's an exotic. It can outrun cars that double its price, so that counts for something to me.

Exotics are a rare breed. A combo of style, power, and powertrain not found anywhere else.

The Corvette's Supercar formula isn't exotic...it's been used very often, in fact.

The Corvette EATS exotics for lunch. Part of a healthy diet, don'tcha know.

I test drove the 2010 GT couple months ago before i bought my car (jasmine) and it was slow i think my dads 4runner sport's edition was faster, it was really disappointing! But i haven't test drove the 5.0's yet i've heard that its pretty fast.

For what its worth some have tested the srt-8 auto with ~50 more horsepower at 13.1.

But yeah I agree...it is funny none have tested the auto RT. And I do agree they are usually quicker than the 6 speed cars...they must be very difficult to launch.

Really? Because it looks to me like it's mostly "Mustang" enthusiasts here, stroking their you-know-what's. Count the threads.

Also, I notice that whenever a Camaro guys talks about another car, you guys jump their behind and kill the thread. So apparently the Mustang guys and ViperTomcat are cool with talking about other cars themselves, but aren't so cool with Camaro owners doing it.

If you want to stop different car owners from posting then I would suggest killing it at the source. To the best of my knowledge, every Camaro vs. Mustang thread has been initiated by a Camaro owner/member here. If not, it is >90%.

Don't create the thread, we won't post in them. Pretty simple solution if that is all you are after. Then again, you could simply choose not to participate in the discussion. Even simpler solution. The rest of us will enjoy talking about cars.

What the heck is the NOT to get along about. 100 page thread comparing the Camaro and Mustang is crazy. Both are good car, both have things that appeal to me and both have things that could be improved. As far as which one is faster who really cares? I bet 90% of people posting in this thread have never raced a car. The thing we should be happy about is Detroit is selling good cars and are starting to see some real horsepower again.
