Gator- the mini still doesn't have the good looks i applaud the performance tho
im with you there. Personally id drive a GT500 with a fred flinstone engine before a mini, but on the grounds of performance it has to enter the conversation.

It's not. I will personally gaurantee it.

You don't have to like the layout; but nearly the entire dashboard is the same dash material as in the Impala. And the knobs on the HVAC and radio controls are rubberized and VERY solid feeling, like they're actually part of the car and not "just knobs". Same goes for the buttons on the radio; they feel like a part of the radio. Finally, the gunmetal plastic used in the guage bezels and the shifter surrouds are made of some real high-tier stuff...very good quality, and not in the least bit cheap-feeling.

You really have to get in the car to know what I mean when I say "feel" though.

Thumbs down Pricing Announcement!!!

http://www.autoblog.com/2008/12/03/f...lenger-camaro/

"The more things change, the more they stay the same. That old saying once again proves true as some early pricing information for the new 2010 Ford Mustang has leaked out, with the latest 'Stang continuing its tradition of offering an excellent value proposition when compared to its new peers. Base price for a standard V6-powered 2010 Mustang is reportedly $21,845, including delivery charge. For comparison, its biggest competitor will surely be the Camaro, which starts at $22,995. The other revived pony car is the Dodge Challenger, which in base SE form begins with a $22,545 sticker price. Each of these entry-level models comes equipped with a standard V6 engine, though the Challenger comes only with a four-speed automatic while its competitors offer a stick. Anyone wanting an open-air experience has no choice but to opt for the Ford, as the Blue Oval's offering is the only modern musclecar with an optional drop-top.

Stepping up to a V8-powered Mustang will reportedly run you $27,995 – quite a bit cheaper than the V8-powered Camaro's $30,995 sticker. Dodge's entry runs $30,545 for the base R/T model and its HEMI V8. It's not exactly an apples-to-apples comparison, of course, as the Mustang GT is down a bit on horsepower compared to its rivals, but we think the GT's cut-rate pricing should be more than enough to keep Ford's pony at the top of the sales charts. For more options information (bereft of pricing), download Ford's .pdf here."

This kinda' ticks me off a little in that they don't tell you what you get for that extra money that Camaro is going for, like IRS, better engines, etc. Oh well; it is a Mustang article not a comparison to it's rivals, but still.

Yeah funny how all the performance features you get standard for the SS version when added to the mustang makes it in price equals. Still the add ons for the Mustang dont equal up to the standard on the Camaro. Bigger brakes standard, bigger engine standard, 6speed standard, irs standard....hmm guess they forgot to mention that for the added money to be almost as good as the SS you had to pay the same as the SS. Just keep hoping for that 2011 miracle that they catch up.

That's only 3k more for a SS vs GT with 115 more HP , IRS and better built quality, it's being built in the BEST highest rated car Factory in North America the Oshawa plant in Ontario Canada , what would you pick ??? oh and MUCH lighter than the OBESE DODGE

your forgiven. Its a beautiful car, if they were equal in all aspects id have a hard time choosing between the two just based on styling.

Either way, they are some great American muscle cars
