They Went from CR-X right to CR-Z, completely bypassing the most befitting moniker: CR-Y :(

If a person can see past the UGLY (personally I can't) it is actually a pretty good car.

Lol. Your welcome. I don't have a problem with the general subject. Just keeping it accuate. I wasn't a fan of the CR-X, or it's cousing the Desol.

No doubt, in terms of automobiles my first love is still a V8 powered Ford. That said, I'm surprised at the blatant lack of love for the CRX. A nice, second generation Civic Si was a great looking, reliable, inexpensive little two-seater Detroit desperately wanted to build themselves but couldn't seem to get right. In other words, it was everything the Ford EXP wanted to be but never was, and was likewise far better than the much more ambitious but very poorly executed Fiero.

The CRZ, on the other hand, is idiotic.

Wow, a performance-minded hybrid that still needs 10 seconds to get to 60 while getting worse mileage than the much larger mid-size Fusion hybrid. And it costs what? Great idea, incredibly piss poor execution. Compare price, performance and economy numbers to a gasoline-only Fit Sport model and this car is a complete joke. Even the Honda fanboys are completely underwhelmed.

Craig sees it. There is no competition in the Honda. Let's look past the—dare I say it—sportiness. Focus on the features and the competition. Everyone else produces something with better performance and better features for a better price. All this Honda has on anyone else is its appearance, which could be worse but not by much.

Exactly! The CRZ would have been better IMHO if they had stuck with a regular small gas only 4 cylinder. It would be lighter, quivker, and get the same if not better gas mileage. I would take a Fiesta before a CRZ. It is quicker, looks better, great handling, 40 MPG, oh and starts around 6-8 grand cheaper.

Good grief, that thing looks like a photoshopped baby rhino or perhaps eerily similar to the horrendous Asstek!

wtf?!? How in god's name does a freaking ricer hatchback compare to the Tesla Roadster? No way in hell that POS could even come close to the Tesla in performance!

That written article says it has "wide tires" at 195. Are they on crack? Have they ever seen the rear of a Z06 or ZR1? Those tires are wide!

But I do like the idea of a manual hybrid and strangely enough after seeing that video, I kind of like it. *putting on flame suit*

When I was little my aunt would cram me and my younger sis in the front seat of her crx and make my sis duck if we saw a cop hahaha.
