Boy, did they really ruin the back tailights and back of car? The prior body had much nicer tail lights and back...any one else notice?

Yeah, I guess I misspoke, they aren't the heaviest cars around, but as far as performance cars go...they ARE on the heavier side

According to Wired magazine, the definition of a pony car is "relatively small, relatively light and often absurdly powerful." Relative is the keyword here, and it is used in comparison to other vehicles available at the time. In which case, none of the current 3 pony cars are overweight by this definition.

Since it's from a company using it as a baseline for mods then it's believable.

i would say they are very much overweight. I bet that weight scale includes trucks.

take an average sized 4 door car like an accord and see that it weighs 3550lbs (32xx for 4cyl.) and now compare it to a 3900lbs camaro and you can see that the current pony cars are pretty damned chubby.

now compare the size of an average sized car like an accord to a new camaro:

-----------Camaro-------Accord
wheelbase:-112.3--------110.2
Length:----190.4--------194.3
height:------54.2--------58.1
width:-------75.5--------72.7

doesnt seem so "relatively small" compared to an average car like an accord

Looks like somebody put on their boner pants this morning:

"Look, I may be old fashioned, but when a man tells me to wear my boner pants I wear my boner pants."

AND, the Camaro feels kind of cramped inside. Stupid windows make for no visibility.

Yes the scale does include trucks. However, that doesn't degrade my source. The fact is if you can't include the weight of trucks, then why stop there? Why should we include a car (much like most trucks) that was made for an entirely different reason than a pony car?

Not really, seems pretty evenly matched thus far. However, we have yet to see the fall runs which tend to give good numbers due to cool air. I'm pretty excited regardless!
