I think the point is put a regular person is his shoes and they would be in jail with a monster bail.
And would probably get fired if they couldn’t get out on bail or be guaranteed a pay check. But the cop gets to walk, and will full pay. That is not equal justice. |

Yea I see cops speeding around all the time. but hey, they are above the law right?
Makes me SICK to see shit like this. How does a citizen's arrest work? |

exactly. I'm sure he is suffering, knowing what he did. Too bad. He should have thought about that possibility BEFORE he decided to do 94 in a 40 through town. At night. I have no sympathy for the man.

Don't forget the possibility that the department completely seperates him from themselves and he's punished to the max.
I'm confident justice will be served here. |

![]() Actually a very good point. So even if they made a mistake (debateable) it wouldn't have been a fatal mistake without the officers bigger mistake. Difference. The officer sped on purpose in premeditated defiance of the law. The kids was instantanious. The speeding driver had over 2 minutes to slow down. The kid had less than a fraction of a second to fix his presumed mistake. |

I don't get the point you're trying to make, was it a legal turn or should they have stopped? Wouldn't the officers have stop for the flashing red lights as well since they were not in response mode?

How do you know they were all flashing red. Judging by the looks of the strip, I'd bet they were yellow for the cops and red for the side streets.
Either way, Yeild means yeild. Hard to yeild at 94mph |
