Go to your browser, type "Google" in the search bar, then type "historical gas prices" and you'll notice a very interesting trend: gas prices fluctuate regardless of the party in power. Not that hard to figure out, really.

Conspiracy theorists would say that the price is being artificially and purposefully inflated so as to push the manufacturing of EV. I put about as much faith in conspiracy theorists as Fiat puts into the quality of their vehicles.

So you think that overall, as a whole, the republican party stands for these things?

There are sad extremes on both parties, and you just pointed out the far extremes on one side. Now lets consider the extremes on the other side. It isn't pretty there either man.

Sadly it's "the squeaky wheel gets the grease" and that's exactly what is going on. It's the crazies on both sides making the most noise and getting most of the attention, because that's what our media feeds on, and it's like a damn cancer on our country.
