They are the coolest imo. Not the fastest, certainly not the best handling, but so much character, and so much cool.

Challengers are like women?

Beauty + Performance (brains) = Constant

I hope speedy didn't try to argue with that Brucer kid or that ChallengerDAD. This is what Brucer said word for word,

Giving credit where credit is due? This is a CHALLENGER site, not a CAMARO love site. So if you feel that there should be some credit given, I do think you are sadly mistaken kid.

ChallengerDAD is the moron who says the Camaro is designed to appeal to the "ricer crowd".

The Charger RT's are nice too. I cruised along with a silver one next to me on my way to work the other day. You gotta love Dodge...they are almost saying "yeah, we're huge American cars with powerful motors and we don't care what you think". They look so damn good going down the road though. My favorites behind the Camaro.

What I do like about the Charger is it FEELS every bit the muscle car, but gives you practicality of 4 doors.

Yes, sir.

Much like the short lived G8. You get performance and 4 doors. A nice combo for some people.

And you can get a manual in that one. Switching gears with the carseats in the back and golf clubs in the trunk.

Hopefully GM will rename that and bring it back.

I drove a Challenger this weekend FINALLY! Unfortunatly is was a used 09 V6. I loved the feel, going 60 felt like 30, it was HUGE! So damned smooth, and the interior is all 70 muscle car. I LOVE that interior! The V6 was peppier than expected but that old 4 speed automatic SUCKED! Slow to kick down, not sharp or slick at all, total POS transmission, thank goodness the 10s get the V8s 5 speed auto! Yeah, not the quickest or the best handling and I would not buy a V6 in any case, but I love the feel! It abosulety feels like a 70s muscle car with a modern suspension, modern steering, and modern brakes, LOVE IT, just not the V6 LOL And are dealers daft? The wanted 29900 for a 09 CHallenger V6 with no options an 18k miles, they also had a used 10 Camaro 1LT with 2600 miles for 34900, CRAZY!!!!!

Yeah, i thought I was going about 30, was getting ready to accelerate and looked and I was actually doing 60. I liked the CHallenger, just not the V6/4 speed auto combo. I will have one, probably be a ear or 2, looking to buy a house around spring hopefully with annice garage for that future CHallenger purchase hehe.

That's what is great about these forums, everyone is entitled to their opinions. I don't know about you Zeus but I never saw people salivating over how the Charger, GTO and Mustang were going to stack up against each other. My dad and I restored a 69 Charger R/T. Is the Charger that Dodge put out in 2006 anywhere near comparable to that, in any way? Not at all, but that's my opinion. You're probably a little older than I am. I should've been more specific about what era I was referring to, the mid 80's to the mid 90's. I really think the Charger was Dodge's first stab at getting back into the muscle car war but they fell way short in my opinion. Not until the Challenger was unveiled did everyone really take them seriously, I think deep down inside you know that too. The Charger is nice if you like a big car with 4 doors that has a big motor but sit one of those things next to a 68 - 70 model Charger and they have zero in common with each other. You seem to like to get sarcastic in your responses and I am really trying to avoid going there with you.
