Very interesting. The whole wikileaks scandal is so sketch. Sounds pretty damn convenient to me.

What I still can't figure out is why the Department of Defense, National Security Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and every other government agency that employs hoards of certified ethical hackers aren't targeting and subsequently destroying these groups of whacked out nutjobs.

i sent Wiki $20 a couple weeks ago.. great site and worth keeping online.. glad to see people fight for what they believe in

IMO going after Wikileaks so strongly is like going after drug users and not the drug pushers. I'm more concerned about how Wikileaks is getting this information. The peeps giving the info to Wikileaks must be found more so than the dude that is the face-man of Wikileaks. Just saying.

EDIT: BTW, I'm in no way supporting Wikileaks or what it does with the above comments. It just seems all energy focused on Wikileaks.

Wikileaks has done nothing illegal. They didn't steal anything, the published documents given to them. Anyone remember the Pentagon Papers? Publishing them is protected by the US Constitution.

Of cousre he is an Australian citizen, being held in a British jail by the request of the Swedish government. He is even accused of a crime, just that the Swedes want to talk to him.

Every American should be deeply afended by the actions of our government on this issue.

I understand why you might think this, but publishing classified info isn't protected by any part of the Constitution. By that logic, selling nuclear secrets to China would be Constitutional... but it's not.

They person removing them from the classified environment, he committed a felony. They guy publishing them? No. The publisher has no agreement, and doesn't have the knowledge to know if it is classified or not. Do you?
