New Mustang Configure site opens.

Ford has just opened a new website that lets people customize their new Ford Mustang any way they want from stripes to wheels, kits and everything and they say there are a million different combos and you can even change the back grounds. Heres a link from Hot Rod talking about it. i've been on the Camaros customize site but im not sure its this in deph.http://blogs.hotrod.com/there-are-5-...one-13043.html

awesome! I wish they had that before I bought my GT500. I suspect Chevy will have something like this soon and it will be awesome if we were able to design our ZL1!

That whole website screams false advertisement to me. Sure, you can customize the heck out of a Mustang on that site, but none of that customization is available off the showroom floor. It all requires buying the parts yourself and doing the customization yourself or by a body shop.

The majority of the time, that kind of "customization" ends up looking like this:

or

or

Yea I have to agree with the above post. I imagine the site is just for fun. Being able to customize the car to that degree would double the MSRP ( at least)

It may add a few 1000, the side scoops, fuel door, spoilers and at least 1 hood scoop is already available through packages and has been since 2010. The vast majority of bumper covers and wheels and just offered throught the different mutang models. I would really bet a lot of those are avail through your dealership and probably the shaker hood too.

Nice! The chevy site needs this for the Camaro. I built a 5.0, this is how mine would look.

Haha I like CGM, but I like this Sterling Grey better. And no I love love love IOM. This is just my favorite color for the Mustang.
