Drove a friend's 2007 Roush Stage 3 Mustang today

I let a friend drive my SS the other day and he let me drive his Roush Mustang today in return.

The clutch is a bit heaver then the SS clutch. The Roush shifter looked good, needs to be a little shorter. The car winds up much quicker than the SS and the sound of the supercharger is very nice past 3 grand.

I was not impress with the hard breaking performance at 50MPH, the car didn't stop know where near as smooth as the SS and it drifted to the side a bit. The doors seem like they are barely hanging on.

The seat was ok and the head room was better than the SS. I was not impressed with the car for the 40k+ he paid for it. I feel like the Camaro should be able to take it with a supercharger installed.

Looks wise, the black car with side strips and a very tall hood scope looks real good. I'm just not into Fords that much.

These are just onions and I’m sure all will not agree. Curious to what others thought of the Roush who have driven one.

I love the roush mustangs. Perhaps the one you drove didn't have the brake package that is standard on Stage 3 Roush, although it should be if what you drove is a Stage 3 and not a Stage 3 "427" trim.
I love the Roush Stage 3 Mustangs...not the 427R or 428R or 429R trim. Test drove one every year since 2007 and always found the handling and braking of the Stage 3 to be superb. The 2010 Camaro SS LS3, even stock trim, does seem to feel more powerful compared to those supercharged Roush. I prefer the Roush interior.
