Great Battles Game

This is a brand new game. The rules are simple and lenient. A poster names a battle (one that really took place, no fantasy stuff). The responding player then tells what he/she knows about it.

The information need not be perfect. It might include when the battle was fought (years and months are close enough; for harder ones the general time period is satisfactory), and whom the fighting involved (names of sides and/or alliances are cool).

Any and all details will add to the fun of the game.

If the player gets it right (remember, rightness here is LENIENT), then the player gets to select the next battle for the game.
