Yeah...I'm starting to see that. I was kind of hoping that stroking it out to 416 would help bulk up the low end torque also. My only real experience in seeing 5th Gen's race is watching Jason@JacFab's car run years ago (He and I went to school together back in the day).
What I'd really like is a nice, flat torque curve..something that doesn't drop below..say..415 WTQ from 3,000 up past 5,000 and a gradual rise up to 485ish WHP..controlled climbing, not peaky spikes. I'm hoping a lower power 416 stroker with a mild cam could provide that based on the extra cubes alone.
