To update old thread subscriptions, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your User CP (top menu bar, 4th item from the left -between Wiki and Community ... or follow this link)
  2. At the bottom of the 'Subscribed Threads' block, on the right hand side, you should see a link to 'View all Subscribed Threads'. Click on it (if you can't find it, just go here)
  3. A table of thread links will be shown. In the grey bar along the top of all the threads, you should see the following:Thread/Thread Starter; Last Post; Notification; and an empty white selection box
  4. Click that selection box at the end, it should auto-select all your subscribed threads on the page. You can also select (or deselect) threads individually from the 'All Subscribed Threads' page if you like.
  5. Scroll down to the bottom of the thread list. There is a black bar with a drop-down list on the right side, on that list 'Move to Folder' will be the default selection.
  6. Click the drop-down and select whichever subscription type you want (please be advised that 'Daily Subscriptions' are not working properly at the moment). Once you've made your selection, click 'Go'
  7. If you have multiple pages of thread subscriptions to change, just move to the next page & go back to step 4

That is a separate issue that admin is working on. I've been keeping MarkLS2 up to date on whether the instants, dailys, and weeklys are working or not.

Weekly and instant subscriptions don't seem to be affected at least ... not that that helps you

That is a different separate issue. The workaround is to use a 'popular' email service (outlook, hotmail, gmail, yahoo). However, this may not be feasible for vendors such as yourself.
