You need to change that to either 'Instant email notification', 'Daily email notification', or 'Weekly email notification'. Please note that when you make these changes, it only applies to newly subscribed threads. All old subscriptions will maintain the old 'no notification' setting. I can walk you through changing it for the old threads if you like.

also, my threads are set to daily in the User CP: Edit options area and I have not received any emails in the last two days from the subscribed threads.
