Ammunition for my handguns went from $10 for 50 rounds to $18 with a two box limit. Have you seen the prices for assault weapons lately? .223 ammo was $180 for 1000 rounds..Guess what it is now? $429
There will come a time where hp decreases and or taxation will diminish the V8.
