CTS V-sport with the same engine is a 4.6 second car. And as GM will be clearly targeting the M3/M4 with this car and the ATS has a several hundred pound weight advantage over a CTS, you can rest assured you are looking at a 4 second car.

And do not confuse this car with the CTS-V. That will be a different animal all together and likely see the LT4.
And I reserve judgment that what is under the hood of the car in these photos is not an LT1. There is a bit of room under the hood of our ATS and the LT1 would certainly make this a car to choose over the M3/M4. And that would be even less funny than the LF3.

LT1, in a car roughly this size? Can you spell C-A-M-A-R-O? I knew you could.
Think of it as divisional differentiation. The Camaro will have a different mission than the ATS-V, against different DIRECT competition, and each will serve it's company well.
