They've said all along they weren't trying to copy the comic exactly, but they did say they'd try to hang with the comic vibe, although in some instances it is spot on, while others are totally off the map (Andrea's "early" TV demise for example). They will change up to keep it interesting and fresher for those who do read the comics, and also to bring flexibility to the story due to corporate restraints ($$). Admit it, if you do read the comics, you STILL watch just to see how close it follows, or doesn't. Am I right?
Yes, if I read the comics I would do it to see how they matched up. Like reading a book and then seeing the movie.
