Getting a trademark on the L88 badge doesn't necessarily mean anything. Chevelle was trademarked the same time and I don't see a new Chevelle coming along.

Aren't you looking past the fact the G5 ZL1 ended up with a more powerful engine than the Z06 and Z/28? Recall my pointing out that the Corvette does not compete with the Mustang (I.e Camaro) as it is much faster in every regard?
Trademark for the L88 was done in 13. Timing makes it reasonable to think this will be affixed to the C7 ZR1.
