I have the manual in my Z51 and also had a manual in my C6. Automatic transmissions have advanced in the last several years (I have the paddles in my CTS-V) I am 55 years old and did not even consider an automatic for my C7. It is just too much fun to drive with the manual and is part of the experience. It is not my every day driver - just for pure fun and enjoyment. I highly recommed the manual transmission. Easy to clutch, easy to shift. Supplements that V8 sound with the perfromance exhaust.
